On October 16th, 2024, the ERASMUS+ spaceSUITE project was presented to an audience of 60 people, mostly teachers, school directors, and school managers, at the Teachers Training Center of Almada – AlmadaForma, in Portugal.

During the session, Professor Rui Baltazar, from Eagle Intuition, presented the main goals of the spaceSUITE project, capturing the audience’s attention. These goals include:

  • Identifying skills gaps and mismatches in the space-related sectors and defining both mid- and long-term strategies to bridge the gap between the current supply of skills and the continuously evolving demand in downstream space industries.
  • Designing and delivering new curricula and training programs for higher education and vocational education, aimed at developing advanced skills in space-related fields. These programs will also support the provision of education and training activities that align with the future needs of the space sector.
  • Enhancing collaboration, exchange of knowledge, and best practices within the downstream space ecosystems, fostering stronger partnerships and synergies across institutions and industries.

Attendees were invited to participate in the upcoming multiplier event, scheduled to take place in Lisbon in December 2025, further solidifying their engagement with this transformative project. The public showed great enthusiasm and interest in learning more about this exciting initiative!
